Net asset value as of August 31, 2021
As of August 31, 2021, the net asset value (NAV) per share of Private Equity Holding AG (PEH) amounted to EUR 139.09 (CHF 150.44), an increase of 5.5% in EUR ( 6.2% in CHF) since July 31. , 2021.
The performance of the PEH portfolio was significantly positive in August. The increase in net asset value is the result of positive valuation adjustments for many portfolio funds, including Pelion VI, Pollen Street III and Warburg Pincus XII, and direct co-investments in Shawbrook Bank, a UK retail bank, and Renaissance Learning, a provider of digital learning solutions.
The portfolio generated positive cash flow with total distributions amounting to 8.9 million euros. PEH received notable distributions from Capvis III, distributing the proceeds of three transactions, namely the arena sale, one of the world’s leading brands in water sports, hessnatur, a pioneer of natural clothing in German-speaking Europe, and Kaffee Partner, distributor of coffee and water machines. In addition, Highland Europe II distributed the proceeds from the sale of Condeco, a leading provider of integrated workspace reservation solutions, and Abry Heritage from the sale of Lighthouse, a specialist healthcare technology provider. in services for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
