FORMER Democratic presidential candidate Andrew Yang has announced he will run for mayor in New York after his 2020 presidential bid failed.

Andrew Yang is an American entrepreneur, lawyer, politician and philanthropist.
The 46-year-old was born and raised in Schenectady, New York.
Yang started working in startups and growth stage companies as a founder or manager from 2000 to 2009.
He was the Democratic presidential candidate in the 2020 elections.
